Girls Write Now
Girls Write Now is a non-profit based in New York City that assists young girls to share their voice through creative writing such as songs, stories, poems, and screenwriting. They are guided by professional mentors to improve their work and to create their passion into a career. The challenge was to create a fresh and bold logo to portray a women’s confidence in sharing their voice through a pick of a pen. To represent their mission, I designed a logo with a combination of a pen and a microphone. I used a bright color palette that closely resemblances their current brand colors. The typeface Gelo is also incorporated to bring that feminine touch to the overall logo.
